Overview

The Templates section allows you to customize the look and content of emails, invoices, and other communications sent from your iBill.io system. Well-designed templates ensure consistent branding and clear communication with customers and resellers.


What You Can Do

  • Edit email templates for notifications, invoices, and reminders
  • Customize invoice and quote layouts
  • Add your company logo and branding
  • Use dynamic placeholders for personalized content (e.g., customer name, invoice number)

Step-by-Step: Editing Templates

  1. Navigate to Setup > Templates in the main menu.
  2. Select the template you wish to edit (e.g., Invoice Email, Payment Reminder).
  3. Use the editor to update text, layout, and branding elements.
  4. Save your changes. Preview the template to ensure it displays correctly.

Best Practice: Test all templates by sending sample emails or invoices to yourself before going live.


Troubleshooting

  • If a template does not display correctly, check for missing placeholders or formatting errors.
  • For branding issues, ensure images and logos are the correct size and format.
