Managing Services

Overview

The Managing Services section allows you to view, update, and administer all active and inactive services in your iBill.io system. This is essential for tracking customer subscriptions, handling billing, and ensuring service quality.

Service List & Actions

When you access the Managing Services page, you will see a table with key details for each service: - Service ID: Unique identifier for each service. - Customer: The customer assigned to the service. - Product Details: The product or plan linked to the service. - Type: Service type (e.g., data, VoIP, static IP). - Description: Brief description of the service. - Base/Final Price: Pricing details. - Date Created: When the service was added. - Billing Cycle: Frequency of billing (monthly, yearly, etc.). - Status: Active, suspended, or cancelled. - Actions: Edit, enable/disable, suspend/unsuspend, or delete the service.

Bulk Actions

  • Select multiple services using checkboxes to perform bulk actions (e.g., disable, cancel, migrate, or delete).

Editing and Managing Services

  • Click the Edit icon to update service details, billing, or status.
  • Use the filter section to quickly find services by customer, product, or status.
  • View or edit the full product details linked to a service for advanced management.

Best Practices

  • Regularly review service statuses to ensure all active services are billed correctly.
  • Use bulk actions for efficient management of large service lists.
  • Document any changes or issues in the service notes for future reference.
  • Suspend rather than delete services if you may need to restore them later.

Troubleshooting

  • If a service cannot be edited, check your user permissions.
  • For billing discrepancies, review the service’s billing cycle and invoice history.
  • Contact support for help with advanced service management or technical issues.
